ABOUT

Looking back, I realise now: My entire existence has been a PR strategy. Before I even knew the term Public Relations, I was already practicing it, positioning, messaging, navigating perception, managing crises with grace, and amplifying truth in spaces where silence was the norm.

Looking back, I realise now: My entire existence has been a PR strategy. Before I even knew the term Public Relations, I was already practicing it, positioning, messaging, navigating perception, managing crises with grace, and amplifying truth in spaces where silence was the norm.

I entered the world of PR because I believe in the strength of real storytelling. Growing up in a community where voices were often unheard, I knew early on that visibility can be a form of empowerment and it could be used to change the narrative. I wanted to help individuals, organisations, and movements tell their stories with clarity, creativity, and authenticity.

From an early age, within my own family dynamics, I had to learn how to assert my presence. I was not just another child, I was the first grandchild, the only daughter of the only son, the communicator. The one who had to speak up, stand up, and often explain or advocate. Even then, I was instinctively shaping narratives, protecting reputations, and ensuring that voices, especially mine, were heard and understood.

In my schooling, I was never the quiet one. I was the vocal one. The one unafraid to stand up and speak the uncomfortable truths, whether it was to a teacher, a classmate, or even a community leader. I have always been daring enough to say my piece not because I was not afraid, but because I believed in justice, in clarity, and in the power of truth told boldly.

That was my early training ground. I did not have a title, but I had purpose. And now, years later, that purpose has found a name: Public Relations.

PR With Purpose, Power & Progress

Public Relations gave structure to what I had already been doing intuitively, but what changed my trajectory was joining dentsu.

Joining dentsu has been a game changer. At dentsu, I am experiencing what it looks like when innovation meets intention. It is more than working in an award-winning agency, it is about creating impact that matters. Being part of the dentsu team has exposed me to a PR world where data meets emotion, where insight drives impact, and where storytelling is no longer about visibility, it is about value and vision. Every day, I am challenged to think globally while remaining grounded in local truth. I am learning how to innovate with empathy, and how to communicate not just for the agency, but for change.

This Journey Is Personal

World PR Day is a moment to reflect, but also a moment to own. I do not just work in PR. I am PR. From the way I was raised, to the way I fought to be heard, to the way I am showing up now in rooms that matter.

So, here is to the journey, from family positioning, speaking up in classrooms to helping pitch global ideas with confidence. From a loud young girl with a message, to a woman shaping a meaningful career in a field that aligns with her soul.

This is PR. This is me. And this is only the beginning.
